Ahlan wa sahlan

Come in.
You're already family.

As Salam means "peace." It's the first word you'll hear at our door and the last one you'll hear on the way out. In between: warm pita, cardamom coffee, and plates that carry the memory of a Middle Eastern kitchen halfway around the world.

We grind our chickpeas in the morning, braise the lamb slowly, and roll every piece of kibbeh by hand. Nothing pre-made — because that's not how our grandmothers taught us.

Overhead mezze spread

Halal, always

Our lamb, chicken and beef are all sourced from halal suppliers we trust.

Made from scratch

Hummus, sauces, pickles, breads and pastries — we make them here, every day.

Recipes we grew up on

Musakhan, maqluba, knafeh — the dishes our families have cooked for generations.

The room

"Brass lanterns, embroidered cushions, and a menu that reads like a love letter to home."

Great authentic Mediterranean food. Such a pleasure to find this in San Juan. 😁

Authentic food, the real deal in Puerto Rico. The menu has yogurt soup, kibbeh crudo and specialty dishes hard to find. Great experience!

Best decision made. We stumbled on it looking for wings and stayed for the mezze.
